SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Unfortunately we will not be running a Scholarship Program for the 2024 Northpower Wild Kiwi event. We intend to bring this back for the 2025 event however, so stay tuned!

The Northpower Wild Kiwi Scholarship Program was created to help Northlanders who would not normally have the health and wellness support around them to participate in the Northpower Wild Kiwi event.

Scholarship recipients will be working towards completing the Activ8 8km run or walk and improving their physical and mental wellbeing along the journey.

If you or someone you know want to make a health and fitness lifestyle change but need a little helping hand, the Northpower Wild Kiwi Scholarship Program could be perfect.

An 6-week journey, from early February until the event in March, successful applicants will be provided with a training program, nutritional and lifestyle advice, and goal setting sheets.

Applicants will also need to commit to group (running bootcamp) training sessions, once a week for a period of six-weeks.

There are no costs involved in being part of the Nothpower Wild Kiwi Scholarship Program and all recipients receive the following benefits:

  • An initial group meeting with Activ8 Northland to meet the other recipients and run through the items below

  • 6 week training plan for each person

  • 2 x bootcamp sessions per week for the 6 week duration

  • Inclusion in a closed facebook group for support, to share runs, motivation and running tips

  • An entry into the Activ8 8km run/walk at the Northpower Wild Kiwi

  • A Northpower Wild Kiwi tee

Sound like a bit of you? Or do you know someone who might benefit from this? Take the time now to complete the application form or send a link to your friend or family member.

If you are ready to make a change, then let’s do this!

Download and complete this application form, then email it to markf@totalsport.co.nz before 10th November. We will be contacting all applicants by 16th November to let them know if they have been accepted into the program for 2024.
